I was looking for a good summer read and heard about this book by Lionel Shriver. The premise in interesting (an America as it collapses) but it's... a strange read. Parts read like a satire of wealthy white liberals, but other parts seem to be torn from Ayn Rand and the platform of the AFD.

I'm curious to see what other poster who've read the book thought of it. And if you want to post some maps of the future elections, feel free

Its a great novel.  I'm about half way through it right now.

Lionel Shriver is one of the greatest people in the world, I am just so jealous that the UK gets to have her.
