I will be providing regularly updated maps for the presidential, house, and senate races here. If I'm unable to update the maps regularly for whatever reason, I will also be counting votes on this spreadsheet:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xHV0MmXcav_3nnbxTMwTsanrt5GgN6luxdL5Ol87L98
Total vote counts and percents are at the bottom of each sheet.
Note that party/regional turnout numbers will likely not be included until after the election.

If anyone finds any issues with the way I have counted the votes, please say so.

Last vote counted (federal): Leinad (and NC Yankee, but his vote was too late)
Turnout (federal): 65.6%

Presidential Election

House Election

Fremont Class I Election

Lincoln Class I Election

Not sure if Poirot is supposed to be listed as a Liberal Party candidate (as described on the wiki page for this election and in the census) or an independent (as described on the ballot).

It would probably be best to do it based on what's on the census, but, IIRC, the Liberal Party only has a single member. Ultimately, it's your choice how you colour it - I guess. Smiley

Looks cool.  There's also a gubernatorial race in Lincoln that could end up competitive, too, in case you want to track that. Smiley

But OK, I added it to the spreadsheet. Not sure if it'll be getting a map. I still haven't made maps for any elections for regional office yet.

Maps have been updated (finally).

Dfw holds a 15-8 lead over Clyde, and is leading or tied in all regions. The House race is considerably closer, at 11-8-3 for the Federalists.

Update: If turnout is similar to that of the February election, the election is about a quarter through. The federalists are leading in both the house and presidential elections, while the labor candidates are winning in the senate races. The Lincoln gubernatorial election is very close (7-6 MikeWells).

Update: Assuming similar turnout to that of February, the election is more than a third of the way through. Dfw leads Clyde, with double the votes, while the Federalists are winning the HPV. The Fremont senate race has tightened to a margin of 7-6 Roy, while the margin in the Lincoln gubernatorial race has widened to 11-8 Mike.

Yep, this has been a highlight of an otherwise rather dull election weekend--so far, at least.

Great stuff!

Halfway through the second day of voting, dfw has opened up a commanding lead of 24 votes (over 40%). This will likely narrow as the election nears its end, but as it stands, this is a very large deficit for Clyde that will be rather difficult to make up. The house election is closer, but has still widened in the past hours to a gap of 14 votes.

In the Fremont senatorial race, Roy Barnes has increased his lead on Wulfric to 3 votes. The margins in both the Lincoln gubernatorial and senate races are the same as they were yesterday.

Moving into the third day of voting, dfw is leading by 35 first-preference votes. At this point, it is entirely possible and even likely that he will surpass the record for most first-preference votes in a presidential election (69).

The house election strongly favors the federalists, whose candidates have received relatively even numbers of first-preference votes. Meanwhile, on the labor side, only Peebs is currently above the quota.

The Fremont senate race has narrowed, and Wulfric is now behind Barnes by only a single vote.

Note: I have added first-pref vote totals for the house election on the right side of my spreadsheet.

Maps and spreadsheet have been updated with numbers from this morning. Currently, dfw is at his original 1st round total from the February election.

Thanks for doing this!

I am the only voter from Montana, right? So why is MT colored red for Barnes? (I didn't vote in the Senate race) Tongue

Averroes Nix is in MT.

With about an hour and 30 minutes left, dfw is at 71 votes, the all-time record for first-preference votes received in a presidential election.

Federalists are also guaranteed a majority in the house at this point; the main interest now is whether or not labor will lose a seat to Poirot.

The senate elections are practically over; Roy Barnes and R2D2 (20RP12) are the winners. In the Lincoln gubernatorial race, it seems that Mike Wells will be reelected.

Tories 44.6%
Lab 37.5%
UKIP 11.6%
Lib  7.3%

Too bad Poirot switched back to Indy, but this looks rather British for People's House. Tongue

Only Con (Blue) and Lib (Orange) are flipped color wise compared to the Feds (Orangered) and Liberals (Blue)

Labor gets to be red most of the time anyway.
