This is why people don't see a difference between the 2 parties

No matter who's elected, only one group benefits - the rich and well connected.

In theory, a more competent administration than Trump's would be better -or less bad- for the country as a whole, even if corrupt and owned by the superrich. But between the Clinton campaign and the pathetic responses to Trump (not special election losses) I'm more skeptical than ever of the Dems own abilities.

Trump chose an FCC director who is a telecom shill.

Stop acting like he's not just as much part of the "swamp" as any of the others.

It should have already been obvious that the Clintons surround themselves with bad people.

True. Normally I don't, but with the choice between giving the power of the Presidency to either 'establishment hack' or 'deranged idiot' I thought 'establishment hack' was pretty strongly preferable. (Enough so that I wondered then and now if the whole thing was supposed to be a setup to teach us to be grateful for sell-out Dem presidents.)

And if you have a reasonable plan for getting rid of the rigged system that isn't accompanied by high-probability, extremely-damaging failure modes, please share. (Although for the record, I find both the Libertarians and Greens to be worse than useless.)
