Since debate has halted for a week and we received the closest thing we can get to an evaulation in the form a response by the Deputy GM (Reposted above) and estimates of both the subsidy on its own and the context of the whole bill I am going to follow the Senate and proceeding to a final vote.

As I have said many times for the past year, there are numerous aspects of healthcare to be addressed and numerous bills that will have to be passed in order to solve them. My hope is that this will provide some certainty as to the public system, provide an adequate support system for those who need it, and thus allowing for the consolidation and reduction of Nyman's role in healthcare and the expansion of regional responsibility on the matter.

Over the next few weeks and months, I plan to work with the SoIA in implementing this program and helping the regions do likewise. If we find there is call for adjustment I won't hesitate to offer a bill to do so.

Health care is a complex issue and this bill strives to tackle a wide range of public healthcare coverage while remaining practical in the context of the game. Balancing those two is difficult while still respecting the needs and values that health care policy should reflect. I urge people to vote for this legislation, as I confident that it is a good bill while acknowledging that it may be imperfect under any one metric in isolation, but when you consider the desire to help those who need it, reduce the federal government's role and keep the bill short and simple enough for the sake of the game, I think the efforts that we have put into this, have resulted in a pretty damn good job.

And with that, I open a final vote on this first but important step towards reforming health care, and I hope, making the game more fun. Representatives, please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

Just realized I am mandated to call 24 hours once a majority is present. In that case, Representatives have 24 hours to change their votes.
