She doesn't have the baggage.

She's new and charismatic.
She's very active on social media and talks about real issues.

Mostly that she hasn't been in the public eye for 25 years

She would likely be better received by the progressive wing of the party, being a little left of Hillary. She's a fresh face - I know a lot of Democrats that voted for Hillary in the primary who want new leadership in the party, even though they still like the old figureheads like Hillary and Biden. She doesn't have an image of corruption created by conservatives already surrounding her, or at least not nearly to the extent that Hillary did (whether you think that it was justified or not). Most would find her more charismatic.

She isn't under FBI investigation and doesn't have 25 years worth baggage.

It also helps that she is POC, which makes her more relatable to the Democrat's most reliable voting block (older black women).

She lacks Hillary's specific baggage but that's it. She's not a good candidate.

Anyone thinking she's the female Obama is sorely mistaken. More like the female Democratic Rubio.

Oh, she has plenty of baggage. She was a DA and there will be some case where didn't prosecute 'XX bad guy' or gave a plea bargain to this bad guy.

That's nothing compared to Trump or Clinton (or even Bernie)'s baggage.

She didn't freakin' prosecute a guy who was foreclosing on elderly people in the state! That guy is now Treasury Secretary! How is that not baggage!?

If she was from an electorally critical region of the country, had experience in Federal government prior to her election to the Senate and had some military background to lean on, it'd make her the perfect candidate. Too bad Democrats don't have anyone like that.

They are both women, apart from that I dont see any similarities. Harris is charismatic, personable and can be quite funny. Politically she is closer to Warren than Clinton.

Being overrated and being better than Hillary are not mutually exclusive these days.
