With 4 votes in favor, 0 against, and 1 abstaining, the amendment passes.

Is there anything else we would like to add, or should we go ahead and move for a final vote?

I want stronger protections still personally, but I'm willing to settle with this for now. I would be totally okay with a final vote.

Alrighty, well since it appears that there won't be any objections, I'll go a head and bring this to a 72 hour final vote.

I agree with Tim's concerns on this, but also JTC's reasoning why a "family veto" idea wouldn't work (honestly that seems like the best possible recipe for long-lasting family drama, guilt, and resentment Tongue). It's a touchy subject that I'm kind of on the fence on overall, but I think Vern's version is just about the best bill that could be written on the topic.

Given that an injunction against this law has now been filed, that is the case.
