So I've decided to get back in the conversation for town council where I am.  I'll be running for office from the sixth district of my hometown.  Yep, I'm doing big things....time to get 'em done! Cheesy

Campaign update....

....the GOP nominating caucus for municipal candidates was last night.  Candidates were nominated and endorsed in ten town council districts, as well as for other town offices.  I'm happy to announce that I have received the party endorsement to run for a seat on said council, along with three other Republicans (each district has four seats, for a total of 40 town council members).  As such, I am about to officially embark on a run for public office.  The campaign will be a long one, but hopefully fruitful in the end.

In other news, I am told that for the first time in many years, the Republican party has a full slate of 70 candidates for office.  This is great for my fellow GOPers....now, let's get to it! Smiley

Congrats! Are republicans competitive or favored in your city?

They're quite competitive.  Although the mayor is a Democrat, we have a small majority on the town council.  Smiley
