Didn't Trump hold a celebration in the Rose Garden when the house passed its own version of Healthcare reform?

If it is a success it will be Trump's success, if it is a failure there will be someone else to blame.

It's crazy how unpopular it is.

It's also notable how this highlights the impossible situation for Congressional Republicans - repealing Obamacare is the preferred option for their base, but it's overwhelmingly unpopular in the electorate as a whole including important demographics they really need (like the white no-college voters). As a result they have ended up standing for scaling back Obamacare, an option supported by a whooping 7% of the US electorate.

Don't you kinda see a problem with the president a) not giving a sh** about his first major piece of legislation and b) that legislation he again doesn't give a sh** about is dealing with our healthcare!?!

Also in this poll:

39% Republicans in Congress
23% Democrats in Congress (lol)
15% Trump
14% All equally

Personally I think Democrats should ditch the Trumpcare moniker. It's easier to get low-info swing voters to vote against the Republican Party than just Trump, especially in a midterm.

Republican Insurance Plan has a better acronym too.

Democrats should name it after the opponent they are running against in their respective states. In NV, call it Hellercare. In AZ, call I think the Flake-Trump Healthcare act.

Alternately, in Arizona, they could accuse the plan of being a little...Flaky.

Seriously, would this be the most unpopular bill to ever pass Congress in modern history?

It'd be in contention, at the very least, which is why I see it being a vastly worse outcome for Republicans if it actually makes it through Congress. Pardon the analogy and potential hyperbole, but passing it would be the rough political equivalent of Paul Ryan rounding up every swing district Republican in the country and blowing out their kneecaps.

Then blowing out his own while he's at it.

Even Fox has it way underwater, although not as deep as the others (27/54).

LOL.
I bet Faux really had to dig, just to get it to 27% (which is still embarrassing).
Funny stuff.

A bill this sinister is bound to be very unpopular.
