John Kasich.  Best candidate to retain traditional elements of the GOP coalition while framing an appropriately CONSERVATIVE but populist message that will reach out to swing voters.

I honestly have no starting preference right now, though if Murphy runs I may try to work for his campaign in some way. Based on who I think is likely to run, I would need to wait a little first.

Amy Klobuchar. Living proof that Democrats can still reach the traditional base of working class voters while still being progressive enough to please the core Warren-Sanders base.

I'd like Jon Hunstman, Jr., but I know that isn't happening.  If it gets significantly worse from here, John Kasich.

Biden if he stays in good shape, which I believe he will. If he doesn't run, I would support Jason Kander, and I think some people are underestimating how he would be able to stand out in a cluttered, but mostly anonymous field.

Like Castro, I'm not all that firm in my support this far out either.

Looking at how the race is shaping up (based on who's likely to run, who I think is most electable, and who I align with the most) I'm probably gonna end up voting for Joe Biden when the California primaries roll around.

I don't know. Condoleezza Rice, John Kasich, Brian Sandoval, and Charlie Baker are my preferred Republicans. James Stavridis and Ron Wyden are my preferred Democrats.

It could change again, but for now I'll say Amy Klobuchar.

Right now I'm pretty sure that I'll be a Clinton/Trump voter, but of all the prospective Democrats Joe Biden or John Bel Edwards are my favorite.

Really hard to say at this point. Larry Sharpe seems worthy but he needs a springboard and NY is a hard place for libertarians.

I am not sure who is going to be the LP candidate and am more worried about getting on the ballot for 2018 in certain state and US elections. Our primary process is changing due to the vote totals from Gary Johnson last time out - as disappointing as they were it changes the aspects of the party.

As for the GOP if Rand Paul ran again and he made it all the way - which would not happen - I would be happy to see that. I don't foresee any other GOP or Dem candidate at this point who I would vote for.

Out of curiosity, any chance the primary gets moved?

If he's still in good shape, Joe Biden. And if not then whichever decides to take the plunge between Jason Kander and Steve Bullock.

I'd vote for any Republican who challenges Trump in the GOP primary. I'd vote for someone like Kasich in the general, on the off chance that he managed to primary Trump. otherwise my preferred candidate would be someone like Steve Bullock or Tim Kaine.

Sanders, Biden, or one of my state's senators. If none of them run, I'll probably vote for Gillibrand or Klobuchar.
