I've meet a member of the People's Mujahedin of Iran a couple of times during 2009 protests in front of the Iranian Embassy. The PMOI was still designed a "terrorist organization" by the U.S. State Department despite working closely with the U.S.

I once met a Wayne State professor who had been put on a watch list for his PLO advocacy.

Nobody designated as such by a state, but a girl in my class is on the Canary Mission list of "anti-Israel activists" b/c she said BDS is good or whatever

Cuba until 2015 was still officially on the US government's state sponsors of terrorism list. I almost burst out laughing at the Cuban government being put on a list with the like of Iran and Syria for a whole 25 years after the cold war had ended. I traveled to Cuba for a week at a time, twice as a kid, so I technically did visit a state sponsor of terrorism lol.
