Apparently hes getting back into politics. Do you think he would run for New mexico senator ? If so does he have a chance at winning or will he just make it a landslide for Henrich?

He would've had a good shot if he ran in a good GOP environment (2012/2014 could both have been victories, especially the latter), but I just don't think running against a Democratic Senator in a Clinton state in 2018 will work out, and I don't know how easy it would be for him to reconcile with the GOP at this point, either.

I doubt he'd make it a landslide, but I think a Republican would do a better job making it a closer race (and it most likely won't be one).  Unless Martinez or Sanchez or some other bigshot run, if Johnson runs, Republicans should probably just endorse him to make it more likely to kick out Heinrich.

Absolutely impossible, completely embarrassed himself with his Presidential Run, if the GOP wants a chance here we should run John Sanchez or Susan Martinez for Senate and Pearce for Governor, though Gov. is probably gov.

Doubtful. He really embarrassed himself in his 2016 run for president.

Nah, not going to happen. The dude is probably not interested in legislative office and he has not come back to the GOP.

I hope he runs for something, and wins. But Heinrich... Sorry that's just not gonna happen. Congress maybe if someone like Pearce runs for Senate? Idk. There's not that much options open for him. He did embarass himself, but I like his policies.

I have a feeling it'll either be the Senate or Governor... But can he run for another term in NM? Just wondering Bc I saw an interesting article a while back saying he still could. Regardless, I think the Aleppo thing will be an attacking point.

As a Libertarian? No though he might be able to get 10% or so.

As a Republican? He wouldn't win the primary especially after being the libertarian presidential nominee for the last two presidential elections.

Why is everyone saying he embarrassed himself wtf he was a better candidate then either of the two clowns from the major parties by a mile that Aleppo bullsh**t was just a gotcha question go back and re-watch the video the reporter doesn't even enunciate it properly he makes it sound like an acronym then when Johnson goes ? The dude goes off in this pretentious bs voice 'you've gotta be kidding me' like ok and you wonder why people think the media is less honest then our con artist president

I hope he runs and wins no clue whether the NM GOP would be willing to reconcile with him or if he would be willing to come back but he was a popular governor and considering his strength there on the presidential level his appeal there isn't gone in regards to the general electorate.

Not like Republicans can beat Heinrich with some right wing nut anyway
