Opinion of Senator Joe Donnelly

An FF. His strong stances on the most important issues while willing to compromise when the moment makes it necessary make him a perfect Democratic fit for his state. One of the best Romney state senators. Deserves enormous gratitude for picking up the Senate seat from Republican hands in 2012.

Apparently, my recollection of Donnelly's Gorsuch support was incorrect; he did support him. Thought every Republican voted for Gorsuch, but apparently not all voted (Isakson didn't vote). Whoops. Actually pretty excellent, considering the state he works for. As I said about Peterson, he also seems like a genuinely good person, quite unlike his esteemed colleague Joe Manchin.
