Well, in the stranger than fiction catagory, we have two former Predator stars who have been governors.   Ignoring elegibility requirements, and the lack of a Democratic contender (anyone know Carl Weathers political leanings?), how would such a matchup likely turn out?

neither of them is libertarian.  Ventura's moreso, but he's really not libertarian.  Arnold's a McCain Republican for what it's worth.  Neither of them hold any libertarian principles.  People get confused when they see social liberal, economic conservative, they think libertarian, but it's really not the case.  Either way I vote Ventura, Schwartzenegger wins (if they change the Constitution)

Who would be the VP candidates ? A bit more difficult for the Ventura ticket, I guess...

Arnie-Romney or Arnie-Sanford
vs
Ventura-Wesley Clark... or Ventura-Oprah Winfrey....
Oh no, Ventura-Lance Armstrong!

ha. Arnold'd win Minnesota easily, possibly in a landslide. Hell, even I'd vote for him.

Ventura is a freakin' moron, whereas Ahnold is only mildly retahded.

Damn.  I'd write in "Garfield the Cat."  Or even "James Garfield."  A 120-year-old corpse could run the country better than those two clowns.

Since Ventura is an independent, I'd vote for the Democrat. Well, unless he was really bad. Then Arnold.

You wouldn't vote for an independent?  Or just not Ventura?

Not Ventura.

I'd vote for a sane independent. In fact, I voted for every sane independent that ever ran.

Fair enough.  In this particular case, I agree with you.  I'd vote for most Democrats over these two, unless that option was even worse.  Then it'd be Schwarzenegger.  Ventura can kiss my fellow independent ass.
