House Majority Leader Haslam2020:

Biography:

You're seeing the new modified office of mine!!! Totally not like the third but the rest are archived, I began my Atlasians Political Career wayyy back in November 2015, hell time flies, doesn't it? I was an upset businessman, so I decided to run for something and won. I was a local Southern assemblyman and a few days later became speaker. I was new to the political process, but became more seasoned. We got stuff done back in my day, worked bipartisanly, and was a source and beacon of activity praised by other regions. I eventually decided to run for governor, which I lost by just a few points but I came back from it. After the new Constituation passed, I ran for the House, and was the first ever Majority Leader. We got things done back then too, and provided a solid foundation for the Atlasian House. In my long abscence, I've grown wiser (no bragging btw I ain't Trump xD jk) but, I've come back to serve my country, a few more "Congresses" later. I'm proud to be back for the 7th Atlasian Congress, and look forward to getting lots of work done.

Political Affiliation: Federalist
Location/Home: Tennessee
Experience: Former Businessman, Former Southern Legislator, Former Federalist nominee for Governor, Former House Member, Former House Majority Leader, current House Member and current House Majority Leader
Music Tastes: Rock asf Tongue
Btw I'm a Guitarist so I may create my own Campaign anthem sometimes, who knows Wink

You may not remember me, but I was the first House minority leader, and in the first House of Representatives. I decided to retire after one term, but I'm back! I'll be engaged more in politics, and maybe run for office soon Wink. I'm a moderate libertarian, and I look forward to being back! (P.S. I'm changing my name soon)

Actually you were Majority Leader. Tongue

I'm going to be editing this office soon, to include what I did before my "long absence", my 7th Congressional voting record, etc. I have a couple bills written up too, that I'll introduce soon. Feels great to be back at my old job!!!

I think this time it is going to be more interesting because we are actually making the conference positions worth while.

I know the Whips have already started taking on the task of turning out the conference members. And we have also begun to coordinate the agenda with the Majority Leader and policy chair.

Majority Leader Haslam2020 holds rally in Knoxville,TN!!!!

"Hello, my friends! what a great city... Wow, my home... This is an amazing place, but guess what else is an amazing place? Atlasia!!! We're making great progress in the House, tackling real issues facing hardworking Atlasians, and we're doing this... In a bipartisan way!!!! How great is that? We've tackled lots of things, passed several bills, and Atlasian seems more active than it was before the 7th Congress! I've been a member of the 1st, and 7th Congress... I started off as a small businessman, way back... I was approached by Federalist Leadership to run for the position of Southern Assembly... I won, I became Speaker, and the South had some great, golden days!!! I remember those days, but I will also remember the great progress I, and other members have made working for you!!! And today, I'm announcing my intention to seek another term to try to come back to the 8th! Please vote to re-elect me, for another Congress dedicated to working together, to being fiscally responsible, to working for you!!! Thank you!!!!"

Hard to believe that there have only been eight Congresses. In any case, I look forward to hearing more about your platform.

My Positions on the Issues:

House Majority Leader Haslam2020.

The Economy:

The economy is okay right now. I believe we have to curb unemployment and I hope the private sector finds new ways on finding jobs quickly, for example, in the South there's lots of places but people don't know a lot of requirement, etc. We need to make sure the economy stays safe an strong, and reduce unemployment!!!

Social Issues:

I personally believe abortion is wrong, but I have no right to block people from a free choice, however I wish to decrease the number needed through legislation, similar to what we did in the South. Ultimately, life is life.

I'm very pro LGBT and will fight for their rights if re-elected.

The Environment:

I believe Climate Change is a significant problem that must be tackled. I hope that Earth will not turn out like Venus just because of money in politics. It's a disgrace that we haven't done more to address it, Earth is our home and we have no backup plan. I'm definitely opposed to going to Mars, but Earth is our home!!! I've introduced a bill to protect rivers, hopefully there's a vote on it soon. I plan to have another Environment bill after mine passes.

Foreign Policy:

I'm a non-interventionist on foreign policy. I'm opposed to nation-building. As opposed to sending weapons and money to people who hate us, I think we should use that money for stuff that helps us back home. But if our interests are threatened, then I understand the need to respond.

Government Spending:

I'm overall opposed to increasing Government spending, and we should try to cut the things we don't need. However, if addition spending helps people, I'm not opposed to it!!!
