Before the scenario, some background information:
1992: President George Bush defeats the Democratic ticket of Governor Bill Clinton and Senator Al Gore, as well as Businessman Ross Perot and Admiral James Stockdale. 1996: The Democrats re-nominate Former Governor Bill Clinton for President as well as Senator Jay Rockefeller for Vice President, wins in a landslide against Perot and Vice President Quayle 1998: The Republican Revolution, the House and Senate are taken by the GOP
Now with that out of the way, here's the scenario:
President Bill Clinton is unopposed in re-nomination but faces steep competition from of House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who gained popularity after the Republican revolution and accusing the President of an obstruction of justice after sexual abuse accusations in the 1992 and 1996 campaigns. (though impeachment hearings are not present as of yet.) But it isn't Newt Gingrich that's the only threat, The Reform Party, who's nominee came in second place in 1996, has another strong nominee in Donald Trump.
So, who do you think will win? Discuss, including maps if needed.
