If you take what Trump said literally, the CyberSecurity unit's job will be to make certain that our elections ARE hackable (and ensure many other negative things come to pass too).  In which case, it makes perfect sense. To be fair, if I was a partisan Republican, I'd probably be hiding a hole somewhere too. There really isn't any sane way to justify his behavior most of the time, and surely not a "cyber security unit" with the people who fking attacked us.

If I were a Republican, and still possessed any shred of self-respect or human decency, I would have long-since publicly disassociated myself from the party led by the stupid and insane reality tv-star. I'd still stand up for and support the issues I believed in, but I wouldn't hesitate to criticize or at least acknowledge the many flaws of Trump and his party.
