Apparently the Trump team is talking to potential challengers for Flake:

Some solid polling out of Arizona would be very nice right around now.

Ask and you shall receive. Smiley  PPP has Flake at 18/62 approval/disapproval, and losing to a generic D 31/47.  They also have Trump's approval at 44/53.  The poll was conducted July 31-August 1 among 704 Arizona voters.  http://ourlivesontheline.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/PPP-Poll-Arizona.pdf

I've put a GCS poll of this race in the field. Hoping to have data soon. I've adjusted the methodology from my previous GCS polls to be able to account for party ID in the final analysis as well. Will post results when I have them.

Of the Republican primary or the general election?

It will be interesting to see if Flake now starts publicly criticizing Trump the way Corker has.

From what I'm hearing about Flake's speech on the Senate floor, this didn't take long to answer.

Full text of Flake's speech in the Senate today: http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/arizona/2017/10/24/sen-jeff-flake-senate-speech-full-text/794958001/

Read the whole thing.  It's magnificent.

I never thought I could get so annoyed by reading the posts of someone else who would call themselves "far-right" and then I read the posts in this thread!  Who cares about immigration and populism when there are actual fiscal and social issues to worry about?  My worry isn't who wants to build a wall the most, but who wants to stop abortion the most and cut taxes the most!

Your priorities are more traditionally "far right", but the other group doesn't define it the same way you do.  This kind of sums up the internal stresses within the GOP.

DeWit and Brnovich are on opposite ends of the scale here. DeWit is the only pol in Arizona I could see with a chance of beating Ward, but Sinema would walk right through him just the same as all the other hard-righties in the state. Brnovich, on the other hand, is a vastly better, more widely-appealing GE candidate (he made headlines not long ago for suing the Arizona Board of Regents for hiking tuitions for no good reason), but there's not a chance in hell he makes it through Ward's Great Wall of Trumpists.

There's an idea: build the wall by stationing those who support it to guard the border.  Solves multiple problems at once.

Well that didn't go well for McSally, Ducey has now disqualified her from appointment basically. Now she will HAVE to face Sinema in 2018 if she wants to fulfill her senate dreams. Or she will have to wait for a special election. She really should not have told her house colleagues those plans.

That was a good call on Ducey's part
Let’s be clear here...this also helps Ducey’s re-election plans.

But still, nice job Doug.

Can't we give politicians the benefit of the doubt sometimes Tongue

Yeah, it was a good move by Ducey regardless of his motive.

This has got to be one of the worst campaign roll outs in the history of the United States Senate.

Mcconnell praising McNally will be great for Kelli Ward, today was a good day for her.

Also to update the race on the democratic side, the justice democrats endorsed Deedra Aboud, an endorsement that will go absolutely nowhere.

Yeah. Democrats need to brand Hawley, McSally, Scott (if he's stupid enough to run), and Cramer as the McConnell-backed candidate. McConnell is literally polling in the teens nationwide.

Wonder how McConnell feels right now, having become the new Nancy Pelosi.

I don't think Pelosi was ever in the teens actually, lol.

It looks like her lowest in the HuffPo average was around 24% in early 2016.
