52, 51, 49 (though had died beforehand), 47 IIRC.

My parents were both born before their mothers turned 20.

My paternal grandparents were old - 82 and 72. Grandpa died when I was an infant, Grandma in 2013. My maternal grandparents were younger. Grandpa was 57 and Grandma was 54. Grandpa died in 2008 and Grandma is still going strong and on board the Trump train full throttle Tongue

Maternal Grandfather: 82, later died at 96
Maternal Grandmother: 78, later died at 90
Paternal Granfather: Died at age 73, but would have been 95
Paternal Grandmother: Died at age 80, but would have been 82

It's frankly a miracle my paternal grandfather lived as long as he did. He fought in the trenches of WWI where he was hit with mustard gas, later caught the flu of 1918, and then worked in a glass factory for the rest of his life. He was also a smoker, and it wasn't a lung-related disease that took him out.

I may well have you all beat in that my paternal grandfather was 80 when I was born, and *his* paternal grandfather was 74 when he was born.  So yeah, I actually have two great great grandparents who were born in the 1820s.

I've got you beat. My paternal grandfather was born in 1930. His father was born in 1881. His father was born in 1813.

(I was born in 1998)

My paternal grandfather was around 75 -my grandmother was a few years younger.

I have no idea of my maternal grandparents, but they also must have been in their 70s.

Maternal Grandmother: 47

Paternal Grandfather: 57

They were all teen parents. My mom was my grandparent's first child, while my dad was my other grandparent's seventh.

My maternal grandmother was 70 when I was born. I have no idea what age my maternal grandfather was. Both of my paternal grandparents died before I was born; my paternal grandfather passed away in 1989 at ~83, and my paternal grandmother in 1996, at ~71. My maternal grandmother is now deceased as well, and died in 2010 at age 83. I have no idea whether or not my maternal grandfather is still alive, since I have never met him.
