Washington, naturally. I was hoping to go back there this summer, but a broken computer combined with stingyness, low income, and laziness in looking up airplane tickets resulted in me being here right now.

Alaska (scenery)
Montana (scenery)
New York (scenery and NYC)
Oregon (It's literally a border state, there's little excuse for not going besides it being 400+ miles by car)

For those I've been too though:

Pennsylvania
Georgia
North Carolina
Illinois

Of those I haven't been to yet:  Alaska.

Although, I really would like to spend more time in California.  I've spent a lot of time in San Francisco and went to San Diego once, but I would really like to explore some more of the rural areas.

Besides Washington state, probably Alaska.  And I'd like to try it in winter.

Wyoming or Montana for the scenery, and Illinois for Chicago

I've been to all of the contiguous 48 states. So, by elimination HI and AK are highest on my list to visit. I think HI would be my number 1. Unfortunately it doesn't fit well for a road trip.

These are the states where I've been to less than half the counties, so they are also up on my list: AL, AR, CA, GA, ID, KS, LA, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT. The red/pink ones are coming up for my Aug road trip, with red for those where I'll spend at least one night.

I've only been to NY so the list is pretty long. But I guess Texas, Arizona and California would be cool places to visit.

Probably just Washington (because Seattle). Not because I like Georgia (I don't--it's too hot), but because Seattle is really the only place in the country I feel I'd find appealing given the climate and geography.

States / US territories I've never visited in order of how much I would like to go there -
I need a Louisiana Purchase...Lewis & Clark type journey
Alaska (maybe a cruise is in the cards in the next 3-4 years)
New Mexico (a reasonable idea & lots of beautiful sites like Taos)
Nebraska (College World Series if Vandy gets back there one time would be nice)
Louisiana (French Quarter, and also preferably to see a big football game maybe Vandy in Death Valley or the Pats - but not for Mardi Gras)
Montana (Big Sky nature - elk, cougar, grizzlies, moose)
Oregon (Mt Hood, Ducks & Beavers)
Iowa (Field of Dreams, the home of chiropractic medicine in the US)
South Dakota (Mt. Rushmore)
Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk)
North Dakota (hmm - Fighting Sioux hockey - missile silos - DAPL)
Oklahoma (hmm - Westbrook & the Thunder)
Northern Mariana Islands (US military history on Saipan, Japanese tourists)
American Samoa (Pago Pago - for the name)
Guam (Japanese shoppers paradise / military bases / "Made in USA" sweatshops)

States / territories I've spent very little time in that I would like to visit again soon
Minnesota (to honor Prince)
Washington
Utah
US Virgin Islands

Vermont, as I hear it is beautiful, I think I would like the small towns, and it's one of just 4 states E of the Mississippi (the other 3 are DE, AL, MS) I have never visited.
