If you were elected to the House, which unofficial ideological caucus would you join?

There is a graph below. I just don't know why most Republicans are labeled as "moderate Republicans", although the Tuesday Group are actually the moderates within the GOP. That's why I called the mainstream Republicans simply "conservative Republicans".

I would join the New Democrat Coalition. They are in the middle and try to be a bridge between the two others, though I probably agree more with the Blue Dogs on fiscal policy, while I also identify with the Progressive Caucus on social issues and health care.

Either the New Democratic coalition or the Progressive caucus. It would most likely be New Democrat.

I think you mean the Republican Study Committee when you say conservative Republicans.

That said, I do not like the idea of being forced to vote the same way as the freedom caucus requires (with two exceptions a session). I am not sure what caucus I would join, but I am inclined to say the Republican Study Committee. Voted Conservative Republicans.

I would join the Progressive Caucus, much to the annoyance (I assume) of everyone therein, in an attempt to change its style and agenda from within. I suspect within six months, I'd be the most hated Democrat in the House at least among other House Democrats.

Liberty Caucus: chaired by Justin Amash of Michigan (who is in the Freedom Caucus) and Thomas Massie (who is not in the Freedom Caucus) is a key figure. Some of the guys I am not so sure about but definitely those two are great.

Most likely the New Democrats since I have much more in common with them than I have with the other two -and I'm a bit surprised that the New Democrats and Blue Dogs (when combined) outnumber the Progressive Caucus.  I was under the impression the opposite was the case.

Undecided. I'd probably caucus as an independent in the Mainstreet and Blue Dog Caucuses.

When I was a Republican (1989 to 2002), I would have joined the Tuesday Group. I think my ideology is still closest to theirs.

Oh? Was this the question?

Yeah, I'll revert to my middle school table seating.
