This seems a little R-friendly. Christie wishes he had a 25% approval rating.

Who knew that failing to get a budget with full Republican control or being bankrupt for road funding and threatening to delay many projects would be bad for his approval rating?

This is great for Sununu. I also wonder if Sandoval's high numbers will rub off on the republican nominee

inb4 IndyRep comes in and says this poll is wrong because Sununu is in a good position.

Do you think Raymondo could lose to a Republican in 2018? She seems to be in a bad spot.

A few of these seem suspect. The most unbelievable one here is LePage's rating. Only net -1% seems high for such a controversial governor. Wolf's rating also seems inflated.

Great numbers for Wolf and surprisingly decent for LePage.

Well Rauner isn't completely doomed in this poll, 40-49 with 11% undecided.  He's got a whole year to get it up before the GE really starts, and the budget crisis is finally over.  We'll see.

Obviously some, if not most of these are ridiculously inflated (Bullock, Baker, Hogan, Sununu, etc.). Did they explicitly mention the party affiliation of each governor/Senator?

@yeah_93: Pretty unbelievable that some people think Sununu is in an extremely good position for reelection or that these numbers are very accurate. But GOP overconfidence is only going to help Democrats here, so I'm all for it. Smiley

I dunno, overconfidence is what the Van Ostern campaign would have had if they had listened to you.

But the numbers really look inflated. As usual.

Hogan's actually doesn't look too much different from other polls. The last Baltimore Sun poll had him at about the same numbers, though that was back in April, IIRC. I wouldn't be surprised if his silence on a lot of Trump's policies have damaged him some.
