Excuse me, but what's "edgy" about posting documented photographs of human rights abuses and war crimes stemming from an unjustified war an admistration led us into based on intentional lies? I suppose highlighting American war crimes is easily dismissed now as someone just being "edgy."

Let's not forget it were George W. Bush and fellow neocons' f**kups that paved the way for Trumpism.

This isn't the thread for it but that's not the whole story behind W.'s successful defense of the American homeland against terrorism. I'll grant there were excesses and errors but George W. Bush kept America safe for eight years after 9/11.

I would be happy to debate Bush's Presidency and why I voted for him and would prefer him to Trump among other things, but suffice it to say, my neoconservative tendencies coupled with free market leanings easily lend me to the Bush/Cheney camp.

It'd be one thing if you actually posted a well-thought out post criticizing the Bush administration's willingness to torture prisoners of war.  George W. Bush's policies on such issues were absolutely repugnant.  Both Bush and a number of folks in his administration deserve to be strongly condemnation for their policies WRT torture.  However, you clearly had no interest in having a real debate with TD or even discussing America's use of torture in a serious manner or you wouldn't have just posted some random pictures of injured and/or tortured Iraqis that you probably found in a 5-10 second google search (one of the laziest forms of wannabe-EdgeLord internet slacktivism).  Same regarding the war in Iraq; plenty of great arguments against it (many of which I agree with), but you didn't even try to make any of them.

More to the point, what was your post even supposed to accomplish if it wasn't just you trying to be "edgy?"  I'm genuinely curious.  It seems like a random attempt at a "gotcha."  I mean I assume you weren't just trying to hijack the thread and clearly you weren't looking to have an actual discussion or debate.  So why bother unless it was just a failed attempt to be "edgy?"

Still the lone Stein voter, I see

TD is neither inexperienced nor dumb by any means. He's heard every possible argument concerning the Iraq War and reasons to oppose the Bush Administration. Obviously, he either doesn't believe they're substantive or they don't hold enough weight to dissuade him from his position. So, why bother rehashing that? My reply was simply to register my opposition to his position. Not everything has to be a debate, a discussion, or a "gotcha." Get off your high horse, buster. This is a political forum on the internet, not a legislative chamber or policy think tank.

I and 7,070 other Missouri voters wrote in the name Evan McMullin.
The Supreme Court matters most.
