I've long noticed when bad things hapens, they happens in series. Here's a recent example from yours truly (ap. week and a half period):

- My scooter broke and need a serious repair.
- My guinea pig got ill and required treatment (he's fine now, but I was really nervous).
- My grandma fell in a bus and sustained a neck injury. Not a serious one, but still it's worrying, especially at her age. She's recovering nicely, but need watching because of her usual aloofness regarding doctor's orders.
- My publisher has some delays.
- Just yesterday, when my scooter was ready, I had a little accident which left me with concussion and hurting bones.
- Oh, and internal situation in my country sucks badly.

This is why, when something bad happens, I'm instinctively waiting for the next bad thing to follow Tongue

Yes, and it is much easier to cope with as a Christian. Smiley

I had an annus horribilis in 2015.

Well, I'm speaking for myself. My horrible 2015 certainly brought me closer to God, although I suppose for many people it could have the opposite effect.

The past week or two has sucked big for me, but it's not like it's anything new.

- I haven't gotten my Focalin yet, which means I'm constantly tired and dealing with fatigue
- Depression's hit especially hard the past couple weeks
- Body is in physical pain constantly, or just really weak
- No creative drive for anything
- Haven't touched my piano keyboard in probably a month now, because the drive to practice just isn't there
- I mostly just slept through the past three or four days
- I'm having a hard time concentrating on basically everything I do
- Still getting stalked
- Still can't get my own job because my financial security is compromised
- I really, really want to just kill myself honestly, but there's too much in the way for that

Really I wish I could just go back and undo this month, so that my severe depression can subside to just regular depression.

I'm always so ashamed of my own depressive issues I avoid ever mentioning it anywhere, even online under my username, and I must say I admire people like you who can speak out of this more freely.

I don't like mentioning it because 1. I don't like being all "woe is me" all the time and 2. these past few years have taught me that oversharing personal details has consequences.  I just need to vent occasionally.

No it isn't, if anything's it's worse since you start wondering if:

A) You did something wrong enough to deserve it

or

B) If you're the next Job

And you can't just chalk it up to bad luck.

This is pretty much what I've been facing ever since I graduated college at the end of 2015, though this year has been slightly more favorable than 2016.

Job reminds me of Doctor Zoidberg. "Yes, they kick me around and say mean things, but at least they notice me. Horray for Zoidberg!"

Well when you glorify suffering, it's easy to feel good about it.

Yes. I suspect I'm heading into a long ugly drag next month judging by all the things that I'll be dealing with. What can go wrong never fails to...you know, go wrong.
