Of course, Max Power, it is the only reasonable position.
Of course. All six year olds should read Hustler.

I assure you that would be much healthier than the indoctrination into cults that most of them recieve.
You mean circumsision?

No, I meant indocrtination into religious cults - such as rearing a poor child as a Catholic or a Babtist.

Better than raising your child to be a self-absorbed good-for-nothing.

Why should pot be legal but not tobacco?

And you support child labor?
I think he intended it as a joke.

Well, my opinion is that tobacco is worse than marijuana.  Am I wrong? As for child labour, I don't support forced labour of any kind, but I dont think we should descriminated against a 5 year old if he submits a resume. But, it's like voting- it's never going to happen Cheesy

Movies rated R ("restricted") in North America are generally movies that contain scenes of intense or extended violence, heavy uses of profanity, references to sexual activity, and/or mild nudity (but no explicit sex - that gives it an NC-17 "no children 17 and under" rating).

Currently, movies rated R are restricted only to either those 18 or over, or those under 18 who are with a parent who approves of their watching the movie.

Oh, is it 17?  I thought that the M rating on video games was 17, but the R rating on movies was 18.  I could be wrong.

2. Consume Alcoholic Beverages  -- 18
5. Smoke Marijuana -- Illegal at any age

This doesn't make sense. What harm can come from smoking marjuana. It has very similar effects to alcohol except your happier, hungrier, and can still carry a conversation.

Dude, I just don't favor drug legalization.  I know the arguments for legalizing marijuana.  Maybe they have some merit.  But I have seen so many lives ruined by drugs that I just can't bring myself to accept it.

Of course, I've seen many lives ruined by alcohol too, but it seems that more people can control their drinking without too many ill effects.  Once people get into certain drugs, they do things that are simply unconscionable.  I recognize that marijuana itself is not one of these drugs, but overall it has bad effects, and I can't see the point of encouraging the spreading of an already bad problem.

How is it a problem? How many deaths has alcohol caused? And how many from weed? It really isn't that bad and has negligable bad effects. And I know it is a gateway drug but a lot of the people who try the harder stuff go at it like this: "i'm already breaking the law and it isn't bad. how much worse can this be". Legalize it and the crackheads will go for the legal high instead.

I think your view is overly optimistic.  I don't believe crackheads will go for the legal high whether weed is legal or not.  If I believed that I might support legalization, but I don't.  You're making a classic argument that assumes people will make the best choice if only we make it available to them, but with many people, this does not turn out to be the case.  We'll have to agree to disagree.

I don't think he said anything about non-alcoholic beer. Yes minors aren't allowed to buy it under current law, but that doesn't mean he agrees with it.

I think there should also be an exemption if you have any less than 3 biological parents.

O' Douls is usualy considered non-alcoholic beer, so the drinking age usually doesn't cover it, even if it does contain a small amount of alcohol. They do serve it at non-alcoholic strip clubs.

I have a question... If you don't have a draft.. what happens if all the people die and there is no one left to fight, do we give  up or what?
