It's been a long time since the New York Yankees have played in a World Series. The last World Series appearance by the Yankees was in 2009, eight years ago. Yankees fans have been restless since, despite the Core Four era ending and the new Baby Bombers era.

When do you think the Yankees will win their 41st American League Pennant, their 41st World Series appearance?

18 or 19.

They have a good core now, but they don't seem good enough this year to get past HOU or BOS. NYY has a ton of money coming off the books from poor contracts in the next few years, just as excellent players will be coming into free agency (Harper, Machado, and more). Cashman has proven incredibly adept at changing for the times and is one of the better GMs in baseball.

2018 or 2019, if Cashman spends wisely on Starting Pitching this offseason.

This, though probably by the end of the decade.

They might have won their 41st A.L. pennant today. However, can they beat HOU or CLE? The Astros and Indians are better than the Red Sox right now.

There's a good chance it will happen this season.
