Which presidents had the best personal relationship with each other? Any guesses?

As far as I know, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter became friends after the election of 1976. Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft also were personal friends for most of the time, even though they battled each other for the GOP nomination in 1912. As it looks to me, Bill Clinton and W also have a friendly relationship with each other.

I think GHW Bush and GW Bush probably win this as father and son.

Eisenhower and LBJ had a good behind the scenes relationship during LBJ's presidency. He was basically an unofficial adviser, at least with respect to Vietnam.

Not two Presidents, but former Vice President John Nance Garner was close to President Harry Truman.

Ironically, Kennedy and Nixon were (apparently) good friends before 1960.

I don't think there were bad personal feelings between them after. Kennedy was consulting Nixon during Cuban Missile Crisis. If Nixon was pissed at somebody due to 1960 it was most likely Ike.

Supposedly Nixon, when he became President, talked to LBJ quite a bit. Bill Clinton also consulted Nixon early in his Presidency over Russia and China.
