None that I can think of.

Based on PM scores NeverAgain (RIP) and I were pretty similar.

RIP? What happened to him?
Locked himself out.

Good riddance

What did he do that was so bad?

He was really incompetent on Atlasia.

That doesn't seem like a good reason to hate him as a person.

For the issues that are most important to me, Crabcake comes to mind, but maybe more of the fraternal sort than the identical.

Peebs is pretty close social-wise, not really sure on economics.
Maxwell? CXSmith? fhtagn?
Maxwell was my first thought for her, too.
Yeah Maxwell seems pretty close. Also he's from my city. Weird coincidence.

Get lost. NeverAgain was a perfect child with the most curious and brilliant brain. And as respectful as man could be too! Think twice before dropping a drive-by insult against someone who ought to be universally beloved.

For a second, I had NeverAgain and Non-Swing Voter mixed up in my head and was very confused by this whole exchange. Too many D-VA avatars.

Oh s#!t, guys. Ignore my previous post. I got them confused too. Good riddance to Non Swing Voter, not NeverAgain.

At this point, probably RINO Tom or one of the Libertarians.

I would have said ExtremeRepublican a year ago, but he turned out to be even more extreme than I thought, particularly on abortion.

I'm probably bigger on enforcing our immigration laws and cracking down on H1B abuse (and not increasing the H1B limit) than any of them are, though.

Despite our very similar political beliefs, we were on opposite sides of the primary with me supporting Hillary and Xing supporting Bernie, if that clarifies things.

Last I checked, I was pretty similar to Computer89, Goldwater, Vosem, Sunrise, and DavidB. It's been a while, though.

No one that I know of.

Granted, I haven't been posting here long, but I've popped in now-and-then since maybe around 2008ish to get an idea of what people were saying on certain issues (and also to read the demographics forum, as that's a personal hobby of mine).  No one comes to mind.

I'm someone who is both non-religious, but also a strong traditionalist and something of a "light paleo-con" on a lot of issues.  I find the religious right to be incredibly... tacky.  That being said, as counter-intuitive as it would seem, I'm not necessarily opposed to the idea of a state church, with socially expected participation, like the old Anglican Church.

I'm also not a free market fundamentalist and find those people to be very uncouth and petit bourgeois.  Once upon a time, over a decade ago when I was in college, I used to be more of a libertarian.  But that was more because I found quoting Nozick pissed off my more liberal-leaning professors that weren't sharp enough to rebut him.  That and it gave me a convenient philosophical justification for not wanting to share my money (or at that time, my parents' anyway), other than "I'm a selfish prick."  Obviously I've grown up quite a bit since then.

I'm not sure anyone comes close to me here.  Not that I'm a unique snowflake or anything, just haven't come across this person (if he exists).

Yeah, it has, since me and David agree with each other on very little at this point.

That clears things up, but raises the question of why I posted twice.

DavidB.'s an out-and-out Christian democrat - supporting single-payer and other democratic socialist economics.

Neither does DavidB. He's got some leftist ideas, but overall he's still fairly centrist on economic issues from what I know (with some exceptions). This reminds me of that article I read from an American Catholic priest who said that the GOP should become like European Christian Democrats and support a left-wing economic agenda... Probably never heard of the CDU and their austerity fetish.

The ideology of Christian democracy isn't restrictive to Christians only. It simply is an ideology in Europe typically indicating support for the welfare state and generally socially conservative stances.

DC al Fine comes to mind, as do my brother-in-arms from the old Mideast Assembly ZuWo, RealisticIdealist (though our voting histories are two ships passing in the night), RFayette, Cathcon (though we've evolved in different ways in recent years)

Kamala for racial issues + immigration, given how we teamed up on those issues before. She's to the right of me on a lot of other issues though, so in general I'm not sure.
