Not surprising, it's basically already state media.

Trump's interest in promoting this story explains why Sean Hannity was such a bitter-ender about it.

I'm surprised this hasn't reached 2 pages on here by now. That is a YUGE story; maybe not at the level of Russiagate, but still.

Nobody needed to be told FOX News has served as a propaganda outlet or state media outlet for this administration since day 1. They did the same with George W. Bush. But to actually get caught conspiring with the administration to promote a literal fake news story? I can't wait to see how the White House, FOX News, and all their useful idiots try to defend these actions.

The FOX News department has always been separate from the FOX commentary, and is considered legit. Plus, this was a local affiliate, not Hannity. They are supposed to be professionals. I posted a thread spreading this conspiracy theory here on Atlas, solely because it was a local affiliate. I contributed to smearing this man's memory, and furthering his family and friends' anguish, and spreading a story for which much of the evidence has now come into question, on the basis of FOX. It's just absurd. I don't get why they do this stuff.

Regardless of who is doing it, I just cant believe that people would do this and peddle a bogus conspiracy when it deals with someone's death. The family and close friends off Seth Rich are devastated by his loss. Then they got to deal with Hannity talking about their son is such a disgusting manner. Goes to show you what kind of scum people like Hannity are in this world.
