Personally, I hate the heat. You can always add more layers, but there's so only so much you can take off, even in private.

One might say "you probably haven't dealt with cold as extreme as the most extreme heat," but once, in college, it got to be -40 degrees outside. Which, incidentally, is the same in both Fahrenheit and Celcius.

Extreme cold.  Despite being a proud Midwesterner, I'm happiest when I'm on a beach vacation, baby.  Give me 85 and sunny every day of the year, and I'm in heaven.

No matter how cold it is, there are clothes you can wear for the occasion. Nudity will only get you so far in Death Valley.

Extreme heat.  Despite being a proud Cali Boy, I'm happiest when I'm on a snowy mountain top, baby.  Give me 25 and snowy every day of the year, and I'm in heaven.

Extreme cold, by far.  I would be happy with daily maximums of 95-100 all year long, to be honest - I love to swim and even run, even in very hot temperatures, but cold weather just makes it miserable to be outdoors.  I just don't like chilly weather at all.

I'm inclined to agree. You can warm up in cold weather with lots of clothes, but, with hot weather, well, you can only go so far.

EDIT: Sorry just read this. I mean the exact opposite of what you said Smiley

85 and sunny is fine enough on the beach, but I don't think I'd call 85 F "extreme."

I like being able to wear knits, so extreme heat is worst.

ditto

and I hate Florida in part because of it's never-ending summer season. I'd say we only have 2 real seasons here, full blown summer and a brief, mildly cool summer.

Midwestern winters are so miserable, LOL.  I always joke with my non-Midwestern friends that it builds character living here ... but I'm only kind of joking.  Want to trade??

Those brief moments of coolness in January are nice, though Smiley

Of course not! But I would take, say, 100F over the 25F that MormDem wants.
