In addition to the ten countries I listed already, here are some more countries the U.S. should strengthen relations with:

- Azerbaijan
- Norway (relations are already pretty strong, but let's make them stronger)
- Czech Republic (not as strong as they could be)
- Colombia

I'm curious, why Azerbaijan? Aren't they trying to improve relations with Iran?

Azerbaijan is probably the best Muslim-majority country in the world. We should be friends with them.

Really should push for a good relationship with China. They are the big power we likely could have a good relationship with in the long run, plus it would help deter Russia if we could get China to help us strap them down for good.

This, plus Azerbaijan has a very unique role right now. It is allies w/ Turkey and Israel while also being positioned near Iran.

They are counter terrorism experts and have been trying to develop a strong cyber security sector.

The two countries capable of ending human civilization at the push of a button
maybe...MAYBE that was true in 1976.  It's certainly not true right now, not even close.

India would be a fantastic major ally for the US - a developing democracy, with religious and ethnic pluralism.

Hopefully a Federal EU in the future, Smiley.

China could be a good ally, though I doubt China will ever work truly consider the US an "ally."

UK and France are good allies due to their blue-water navies. Brazil could potentially be as well, if it cleaned up its government from rampant corruption.

Israel is a good ally, though the US needs to be more aggressive in making sure Israel's government toes the line and is more aggressive in pursuing a two state solution and punishing settlers.

I think both Azerbaijan and Georgia would be decent allies, although the former is a kleptocratic dictatorship and the latter is very weak militarily. Both need a major ally since Armenia and Russia work together and are aggressive toward the two.

Indonesia has the potential to be a really good "backdoor ally." Most of Indonesia diplomatic power comes from being independent of the major powers, which makes it the most powerful negotiator between the Muslim-majority countries. Thus, I think the USA needs to be in Indonesia's good graces.

Japan and SK are necessary allies for power projection in East Asia and the Pacific. The US needs to be more explicit in its disapproval of Japan's attempted rearmament.

Ireland, Poland, Vatican City, Lithuania, and Hungary.

lol I love and fully endorse this list.

I would probably replace Lithuania with Saudi Arabia, Japan or Russia, but yes, this is about where I would begin.
