Why are so many people listing India as a top 5 ally? India can be one in the short term, but in the long term they'll grow too big and will follow a foreign policy independent from the US, just like what China does right now. Geography and demographics, more than shared democracy or any details like that, will dictate these outcomes.

In addition to the ten countries I listed already, here are some more countries the U.S. should strengthen relations with:

- Azerbaijan
- Norway (relations are already pretty strong, but let's make them stronger)
- Czech Republic (not as strong as they could be)
- Colombia

I'm curious, why Azerbaijan? Aren't they trying to improve relations with Iran?
