September 28

Texas at Iowa State - Iowa State has vastly improved vs last year.... Texas has not

September 29

Miami(FL)
at Duke - hmmm, Duke looks good but I still like Miami (FL)

Nebraska at Illinois - Illinois isn't all that good, but Nebraska is worse IMHO

USC at Washington State - Upset! Upset! Upset! USC has looked like trash against every team they have played, I think this will be the first real time they are challenged.

September 30

Indiana at Penn State - easy pick

Oklahoma State
at Texas Tech - Oklahoma State will win, BUT, it'll be a close shootout, maybe even close enough for Texas Tech to become ranked in the AP poll

California at Oregon - California wins gut feeling

Arizona State
at Stanford - another gut feeling upset

Iowa at Michigan State - Michigan State looked awful vs Notre Dame, Iowa looks to be recuperating some

Maryland at Minnesota - aw Maryland I wanted you to upset everyone and win the big 10, oh well, it was always a long shot, at least you stopped the Texas hype Wink

Northwestern at Wisconsin - Wisconsin for Big 10 West winner and maybe Big 10 winner!

Vanderbilt at Florida - aw Florida, Vandy will win

Houston at Temple - Houston is not as good this year but it's still Temple

Syracuse at NC State - meh

Georgia at Tennessee - Georgia continues its climb to the top of the SEC East, maybe even setting up its chances of winning the SEC (some people are starting to jump on my suggestive bandwagon now!)

Florida State
at Wake Forest - Florida State finally wins a game, yay Dereich

Eastern Michigan at Kentucky - upset central because one of the Michigans always loves to ruin dreams

Miami(OH) at Notre Dame - easy pick, Notre Dame

Mississippi State at Auburn - upset according to the odds but pretty evenly matched

Marshall at Cincinnati - easy Cincy win

Memphis
at UCF - close one, but memphis

South Carolina at Texas A&M - A&M is maybe getting better, regardless South Carolina has been poor

Clemson at Virginia Tech - I want to believe, but I don't.

Mississippi at Alabama - new coach at ole miss this year, not happening this time.

Northern Illinois at San Diego State - yay SDSU rise

Colorado at UCLA - could be close but Colorado is good in this matchup

Georgia at Tennessee

Florida State at Wake Forest - Things don't happen unless someone is here to dream big

Eastern Michigan at Kentucky

Miami(OH) at Notre Dame

Mississippi State at Auburn - had Auburn pre-season in spite of ranking the Bulldogs higher, but I'll change it up.

Somehow I really doubt that amidst Francois injury and hurricane, losing on the road to a team that year-in and year-out has one of the top defenses in the country, would impact his job.

That's one of the big problems; by recruiting alone FSU should have a top five defense but it very clearly does not this year and over the last few years has not been close to a top defense. There are problems that exist and have existed with several units but Jimbo is unwilling to show any disloyalty to his staff by forcing them to make changes.

But Jimbo himself is certainly safe; even angry fans won't go farther than to say he's overpaid.

New rule: Only list the team you think is going to win, single spaced. Any analysis after the list. I do not have time for this for so many people nor do I have time for a data validation test.

Thanks.
