I'm an anti-Bernie Democrat and I know I will stay home, or vote for a third party if Bernie is the Dem nominee in 2020. I'm curious to see if any other Democrats have the same opinion?

I do not like him. I will write in someone else because I will be voting to get David Perdue out of the Senate. My state won't decide the election.

He would lose anyway, so I'd write in someone. A choice between Trump and Sanders is not a good choice.

It's amazing how many people are okay with Trump winning again and not voting for Bernie just to spite his fans. While some Bernie people definitely voted for a third party, I doubt there are as many as people like to believe.

I would vote for him, unlike some people on this forum I vote for the candidate who has the best chance of winning, no matter who it is.

I'm dying about all the Dems who complained about how Bernie voters not playing ball despite the vast majority showing up and voting for Hillary, now saying they'd rather let Donald Trump win than Bernie. So hypocritical and shows the true colors of a lot of the Democratic party. Seems like people are holding an extremely petty grudge. Voting for Jill Stein over Bernie is hilarious since it's obvious they're way crazier than him.

I was unhappy about some Bernie supports staying home/not voting for Clinton in 2016, so I will vote for Bernie in 2020.

Of course I'd vote for him. Unlike *some people* I wouldn't throw a hissy fit if I supported someone else who lost the nomination and wouldn't threaten to go third party/throw my vote away. We have to get Cheeto out of office so I'll most definitely support the Democratic nominee regardless of whom he or she is. Hell, I'd vote for an empty cereal box before I would vote for the Dear Leader.

I didn't know it was possible for there to be somebody so partisan they'd vote against their parties nominee, but I guess Bernie fits that bill for some people. If Bernie wasn't an independent initially I'd doubt anybody would have such a problem with him.

I think I would reluctantly vote for him just to stop trump from being reelected but I will have to see.

He and is supporters essentially said that black votes didn't count in the primary because they weren't for him, so why on earth would I vote for someone with that sort of sentiment? The left thinks that Sanders can win without black votes, so clearly he has his own special magical path that wouldn't require me to vote for him anyway.

Quote me where said that? Some of his supporters are stupid brocialists, but Hillary had plenty of obnoxious supporters. Bernie himself certainly never said that. Also Bernie easily gets 85%+ of the black vote.

He dismissed southern primaries where most of the black votes are http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/sanders-says-southern-primaries-distort-reality

The alt-left and Sanders supporters consider black votes to be "identity politics" that Sanders doesn't need to win. He's not going to perform well with voters that he and his supporters are dismissive of.

Sure, some of his supporters can be annoying(I'm not a huge fan of Clinton, Pelosi or Schumer but I don't hate them and they're nowhere near conservative) but I like a lot of his ideas and he's certainly much better than any Republican option. If Sherrod Brown or Al Franken or(I'd give my left testicle for Russ Feingold to run no matter how bad it would look) some other midwestern populist were to run I'd probably vote for them before Bernie in a primary, but it would be a rare occasion for me to not vote for the Democratic nominee, whoever it may be.

I mean the southern primaries absolutely are a distortion of the overall American electorate. Having so many super tuesday states representing one coalition of the party is a problem. If they were better dispersed I don't he'd have such a problem. By the way nowhere in that statement does he talk about black voters. Also he's also actually popular with young black voters having won that demographic during the primary. The main crux of his argument is that the south votes reliably republican anyway so why are should we front load them in the primaries. His statement has nothing to with a fear of identity politics or disdain for black people. You are just reading into a vague statement because you have chosen to think he's racist, when he clearly isn't.
