Regardless of what you think of the U.S. political parties, which party in America do you think is the party of basic human decency?

The only presidential candidate on my ballot last year who I had any respect for was Darrell Castle, so I suppose I'll have to go with the Constitution Party.

Republicans, just to outweigh the hackishe Dem votes.

The real answer is that this is a loaded question and is ridiculous to ask.

Yep - it only reinforces previous beliefs. If a pro-life person believes that upmost "basic human decency" means being against abortion and protecting the lives of the unborn, obviously they'd support the Republicans or Constitution party. Meanwhile, for some, basic human decency consists of respect for all people - homosexual, transgender, other religions and cultures - which means that the Democrats are "the party of basic human decency." For others, "basic human decency" is incompatible with capitalism, which means whichever party most aggressively deconstructs capitalism is the "party of basic human decency," so Socialist Party USA would be closest.
