They've praised Manafort for his cooperation? I think this seems like a tactic to force a plea rather than indication of guilt. This is a classic "force plea through bad PR" tactic used by prosecutors.

Voelkisch can be translated many ways -- 'racial', 'racist', 'national', or 'popular/people's'. Beobachter is more clearly  translated "enquirer" or "inquirer".

The Trump Administration is already unraveling.  It is not for us to predict what damaging evidence the FBI gleaned -- but it can usually find something.
