Graded as a collective:

Best: Florida, Wisconsin

Worst: Virginia, Illinois

Wait, what? Sunrise, Virginia, Muon, Truman, etc. are part of the worst collectives? Huh

Virginia is from Florida. Tongue
And Truman is from Indiana.

Damn, you're right, not sure what I was thinking. Tongue

Disproportionately neoliberal/strong Clinton supporters and/or fiscally conservative, socially liberal. Most are from NoVA, which are predominantly wealthy suburbs of DC, so they generally represent a kind of politics loathed by Conservatives and Progressives alike.

No, there are plenty of bad Virginia posters who don't fit this mold. Shua and Sunrise are both awful, for example.

Huh, you and I have very... different ideas on who counts as a bad poster.

I'm actually surprised that no one has said Tennessee for unpopular because my ideology is certainly highly unpopular around here!

The Netherlands has the best posters. Sometimes it looks like our leaders can't choose between being the 17th German Bundesland or the 51st American state (being a sovereign country is never an option ofcourse). I'd opt for being the 17th Bundesland btw, the Netherlands would add a solid 26 EVs to the Democratic column and we don't want that. Meanwhile in Germany we would mainly help the FDP (though I wouldn't be surprised if many VVD voters opted for Mutti...).

Actually, after seeing Green Line dancing around in the threads relating to Saturday's violence, I'm reconsidering putting Illinois on the Best States list.

Thanks Green, for helping the Californians with basking me in the California greatness!

Since Atlas likes maps so much, I made one based off of my opinions of each state's posters:

As I am a Democrat, red = Freedom State, green = Tossup, blue = Horrible State. The more someone posts (or rather, the more I run into their posts), the more strength they have in their state's rank. These are just rough estimations, and I'm pretty sure that I got at least one of these states wrong.

The only state that really stands out is Virginia. Sometimes I want to bike over to the river and flip you all off, though there are a few posters that are OK (NSDAP-Member NeverAgain and Frodo come to mind).

Just curious, is there a Maryland-Virginia rivalry, just like there's one with New Jersey and the states that surround it?
