Franklin Pierce. Closely followed by Andrew Johnson and James Buchanan. Anybody naming Woodrow Wilson before these trash presidents is very special (to put it in nice terms Wink )

The question is "Who is your least favorite President from your own party?", not "Who is the worst President from your own party?".

Why would the answer to both questions not be the same?

All Democrats pre FDR were terrible. Post FDR Carter was the least effective, though I probably would disagree with Truman the most.

John Tyler, who is my least favorite president anyways.

My favorite President from my party is George Washington, who, again, is my favorite president anyways.

John Tyler's terribleness is legitimately underrated.

I would think for worst/least favorite, they'd be the same ... but best/favorite are often different, so who knows?

I tend to enjoy Nixon and the Adamses personally, but I don't pretend they were successes in office.

Andrew Johnson, the old racist, easily. Then Pierce and Buchanan. All of them were HORRIBLE. I also never liked Cleveland that much because of his social conservatism. He strongly opposed women's sufferage till the end of his life. Wilson's racial views were also terrible as well as the suspension of some civil liberties during World War I. His League of Nations vision and progressive econmic policies were fine. Overall, somewhat neutral. All post-Wilson Democratic presidents were at least decent presidents, if not great leaders.

No. Johnson didn't run on a regular GOP ticket. He was a Democrat who ran on a fusion ticket between the GOP and war Democrats.
