Republicans typically have a greater appeal to those on the up-and-up, who are ascending the ladder of social mobility.

If and when the GOP finally jettisons its white nationalist strategy in an attempt to maximize all those 'missing white voters' mentioned by Sean Trende in the aftermath of the 2012 election, it will be for the above reason that it can make headway once again to racial and ethnic minorities.

Honestly, I think the main issue why is that they are Catholics and Pentecostals voting against abortion. The second issue could be that they are "neo-cons" who want us to eventually liberate their homeland.
