You mean besides him allying himself with the communists?

Post-1951, it seems inevitable that either the monarch or the Prime Minister would be overthrown. The only question was who would get there first - the Soviets or the West.

I wouldn't say he was that tight with Tudeh.
He was associated with socialists and supporters of Kerensky and Lenin in his earlier days. Tudeh, it should be noted, wasn't allied with Khrushchev and other such reformers. It was Stalinist, through and through, and that's indefensible.
