There was a matchup of him and Spitzer. It was something like Spitzer 60, him 20. This race is already over.

And although he's from Massachussetts, New Yorkers don't care about carpetbagging. Hey, they elected Hillary.

Yeah but Hillary was running against Rick Lazio, not Elliot Spitzer. Not even in the same ballpark.

Spitzer is the next New York governor. I'd be every buck I have on that.

Great idea on DU: During any debate, ask Weld what baseball team he roots for. If he says Yankees or Mets, he looks like a cheap panderer. If he says Red Sox, well that won't go over too well.

Although there actually are people who do vote on that stuff sadly. I am completely sure that if a candidate came out as a huge Packers fan and his opponent claimed to be a Vikings fan, my dad would vote for the Vikings fan based on that alone. I suspect one of my supervisors at work would too.
