In reading up on Bannon it seems that his default position on most foreign intervention conflicts was to stay out, whereas Mcmaster, Tillerson and others seem more conventional, i.e. more interventionist.  But, its not as if Bannon was that influential anyway in the last months, so I vote for option 2.
Still, if you didn't like Bush style interventionism Bannons departure can't be a good thing, at least on that issue.

That's what I'm concerned about. From the sound of things Bannon had a good influence on Trump in regards to Syria and North Korea. We'll see what his next foreign policy statements are like.

Trump's surprisingly good response to the stuff in Boston today may indicate a shift on racial issues with Bannon gone, so that may be a good thing.

NOTA. The Trump foreign policy was a mess, is a mess and remains a mess. Mostly because the God Emperor lacks the knowledge and interest necessary and has shown little interest to let his team do its work. Tillerson, Mattis or McMaster say one thing, the next hour he says something completely different.

Yes. Trump has always been raging interventionist. So instead of doing it on the basis of policy or national interest he does so on the basis of basically who has insulted his precious ego.

I can respect the views of some non-interventionist Republicans like Sanchez and his ilk on this forum who want to see a republican who doesn't embroil us in a Fool's more like Iraq again, but how on God's green earth getting one ever think someone as erratic and rated M throw down over personal slights As Trump would be that person because he once or twice and nasty things about the Iraq War?

Trump is Trump.  His decision making has, and will continue to be mostly based on his whims and whatever he sees on Morning Joe that day.

No impact.
