Leaning towards option 1, because of the end of the August recess and the high stakes votes coming.

Yes. Remember we have the SCOTUS ruling on the travel ban.

The definitive SCOTUS ruling on the heinous Muslim travel ban is coming in October at the earliest (although it could be earlier), when SCOTUS's new term begins.

However, September is shaping up to be an interesting month, especially on the government funding battle in Congress front.

Yes, something between Option 1-2. Congress will be back in session and the debt ceiling vote is looming. It will be interesting to watch what happens with the wall funding also.

And Trump will decide on DACA. 800,000 kids who gave their info to the gov't sure are going to feel dumb if he ends the program.
