November 8th 2016

CNN.com:JEB BUSH ELECTED 45TH PRESIDENT STUNNING POLLSTERS
John Elils "Jeb" Bush was elected president Tuesday night after defeating Hillary Clinton despite polling being in her favor.

President elect Bush will go on to the first ever brother of a president to be elected and will be the third son of a president to be elected the second since John Quincy Adams and the first since his brother George W Bush

The Bush/Mattis ticket beat the Clinton/Kaine ticket after picking up the Obama states of Nevada, Colorado and New Hampshire while keeping North Carolina Republican and winning the mandatory states of Florida and Ohio.

In his victory speech the president elect thanked the people for his victory and spoke on being on the way to the stronger decent America.

This morning Secretary Clinton conceded the election to Bush and Mattis and congratulated them on their victory.

Clinton in her defeat speech said she still felt that this campaign was historical and that there are still major cracks on the glass ceiling.

Meanwhile in the House as expected the Republicans took back the house in a landslide while the race for the senate is still up for grabs as one senate race in Wisconsin between Republican incumbent Ron Johnson and former senator Democrat Russ Feingold is still too close to call and prob wont be called until later this week in a race that will decided if the senate will be Democratic or Republican controlled.

In other big news former presidential candidate Donald Trump says he is starting America First News Network a news network dedicated to news from a populist conservative point of view

We all know he'd win every state, including DC.

This election in one article
NYT OPINION:If you haven't been living under the rock recently you would know that Jeb Bush was elected president last night.
So many factors in this case that the cause of moving on from Bush's brother with Obama's victory in 2008 was pointless.
Jeb Bush was despite the name and experience never was not the frontrunner for most of this race with his moments shining only at the very beginning of the primaries and the very end of the primaries.

Bush announced his campaign in June 2015 in the city he knows best Miami Florida.
And enjoyed a decently long lead as the GOP frontrunner until real estate mogul Donald Trump jumped into the race.

Trump ran on a far right populist campaign on the motto of "Making Amercia Great Again"  Trump's comments were off the wall and needless to say controversial but however despite that his message started a movement of fans who took this populist message by heart and the more outrageous things he said the more fans he got.

Trump soon became the anti Bush candidate as he started to creep up on Bush as the frontrunner
But Bush despite threats of Marco Rubio or Chris Christie replacing him as the Republican establishment favorite moved on and defended off these threats with a fun like personality and trying to difference himself from his unpopular brother as a more moderate and libertarian than him.

Despite the loss in Iowa to Trump Bush knew the race was far from over and despite to expand his views to more religious voters with a strong pro life message in Sourh Carolina. But not after the big endorsement of recent drop out Ohio Govenor John Kasich helped him with a boost in New Hampshire which resulted in a slim victory in New Hampshire due to his more water down Libertarian economic policy that he had preached.

In South Carolina the three remaining candidates of Trump, Bush and Cruz hit the campaign trail hard to religious voters. Bush unlike the other candidates hit college campuses in a effort to attract young voters.
Like I said earlier Bush seemed like the grandfather who had just discovered social. Cringely but harmless.

Around then George W and HW hit the campaign trail for Jeb in more mainland parts in which George W jokes about Trump calling him "The man who thought he could buy the presidency" which resulted in a rebuttal from Trump in which he said coming from a man who was only elected due to his brother.

In the end however Bush won South Carolina in a decent amount but it wasn't over yet for Trump.
Trump would heavily win Nevada and the following that Ted Cruz dropped out without a endorsement.

Bush and Trump traded big wins on Super Tuesday with the biggest win going to Bush's victory in Texas just a day after Ted Cruz endorsed him.

To keep this piece from getting too long Bush ran away with the race after words and despite wins from Trump in the Michigan primary and a few others Bush made the race unlikely for Trump after his wins in Florida and Ohio who he barely took and in lucks way it was a winner takes all state meaning Bush got all delegates.
Trump was like the boy who cried wolf. He kept crying voter fraud and voter fraud after losing close races only to show in recounts that there was no voter fraud and no rigging unlike what was going on with the other party.
Bush clinched the nomination after Trump dropped out after Bush's win in Wisconsin knowing that he had no path to victory.

Despite that Trump didn't endorse Bush leading to some that he would run as a independent spolier.
However it wasn't until the week heading up towards the RNC when Trump finally endorsed Bush and finally united all Republicans with even most of Trump's most hardcore fans having to a settle with him

In a attempt to appeal to Trump's base Bush pulled a stunner and choose former Marine Corps general James "Mad Dog' Mattis who hadn't been a Republican for a longtime as his Vice President which would get praise from even Bush critics like Trump fanatic radio host Alex Jones.

As for the Democrats? Well you know the story Bernie Sanders was stolen from the nomination and that Debbie Wasserman Schultz step down as DNC head after Wikileaks dumped batches of emails that shown that the DNC had Hillary Clinton handpicked as their nomination for a while.

Clinton and Kaine were nominated and President Obama made a speech trying to unite the party but I guess we can say that failed.

It was 1992 over again Clinton vs Bush only without a old Texas businessman spoling it.

Clinton led in the polls going into Labor Day though Bush wasn't counted out his used of social media and his now infamous use of memes to appeal to younger voters with his now famous parody of the famous "ITS TIME TO STOP" ad which was a parody of the famous It's Time to Stop meme by Filthy Frank  with his son George P Bush holding a clock with a sign saying No Hillary on it.
It was cringeworthy but it went viral and prob is one of the most famous Presidental campaign ads ever.

Bush enjoyed a surge in polling until the first presidential debate where Secretary Clinton was seen as the winner due to her being more into the main focus of the debate foreign policy.

However despite that James Mattis had a strong Vice Presidental debate and Amercians overwhelming agreed that he would be a strong second in line than Tim Kaine who came out boring and unpolished.

Hillary began to collapse after that with even more emails from Wikileaks were dropped this time they were the emails this this called the "Podesta Emails" Hillary Clinton tried to stray away from it however in the second and third debate Bush seem to have the upper edge as it seemed like her ideas of her economy and healthcare would just be the same as the current administration.

So that's pretty much what happened in one article.

November 11th 2016
NEWYORKTIMES.COM:PRESIDENT ELECT CHOOSES DAVID FRENCH AS CHIEF OF STAFF

In his first official cabinet appointment President Elect Bush has chosen National Review reporter and Iraq War veteran David French as his White House Chief of Staff.

French was a out and loud supporter of Jeb Bush thoughout the election process and was a top advisor during his campaign.

PRESIDENT ELECT BUSH chooses John Ashcroft as National Security Adviser
FoxNews.com:President Elect Jeb Bush today has chosen former Missouri senator and Attorney General during his brother George W's administration as National Security Advisor

Critical reactions to the pick came shortly after as people called out him as one of the founding fathers of the Patriot Act and his ties to George W Bush's presidency.

November 12th 2016
SENATE TIED:FEINGOLD DECLARED WINNER IN WISCONSIN SENATE RACE.
AP.Com:Russ Feingold wins back his old senate seat after several days of recounts and complains of voter fraud

With this so far the Senate is tied with no majority in any party. If nothing changes then outgoing Vice President Biden will break the tie as the new congress and senate begins in January

But that could change if any members of the senate are chosen to be in the imcoming president cabinet then either we could have a Republican or Democrat majority before the new congress is sworn in.
