Why no Switch? That'll be its own thing, it kinda just launched after all.

And, much as I hate admitting it, but my vote goes to the PS4. Sony finally got their exclusives done right and despite the bland, hand cramping controller, it is straightforward.

Wanted to give it Wii U, but besides Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and Splatoon, there just isn't much else, and if you don't have the tablet...well that really sucks. Pity, it's one of the few plug 'n plays left.

And I have nothing nice to say about Xbox One, nothing at all.

PC games have undergone a great renaissance since 2012 with the rise of the roguelike-like/roguelite.

- FTL
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown
- Don't Starve
- Rimworld
- Invisible, Inc.
- Darkest Dungeon
- XCOM 2
- This War of Mine

Better than anything made in the 15 years before that, and way better than whatever trash they're playing these days on game consoles, which I always thought were stupid.

I love the XCOM series. I was just playing Long War on XCOM 2 this summer.

Rimworld is great, too.
