Comey is the worst FBI director in history. He should be locked up.

Evidence was clear she did nothing wrong. Interview was just a formality.

Let's spend a few million more tax dollars for another investigation that leads nowhere.  Gotta go after her!

But don't look over here, where we're getting Russia to help us with the election.

This is more accurate.  It was terrible security practice, but nothing that would be prosecuted.

Ironically between the State Department, NSA, CIA, DNC, and her campaign, her private email server was the only one that wasn't compromised.

How unprecedented is it that a party controls every branch of government, yet can get absolutely nothing accomplished?

While what she did with her emails was indeed extremely careless and utterly inexcusable, I think losing the GE after having the nomination literally handed to her on a silver platter, as well as having to deal with 4 years of Trump, is punishment enough.

The modern day GOP is ran by McConnell, Ryan, McDaniel, and Trump. This was not unexpected.

Funnily enough that "exoneration statement" was a blatant partisan attack on Clinton.

They may yet even get less done by shutting down the government and failing to raise the debt ceiling!

Time to review the Congressional testimony transcripts to see if Herr Comey committed perjury.

Good Twitter thread by Benjamin Wittes on this at https://twitter.com/benjaminwittes/status/903598250908901377.  Too long to reproduce the whole thing here, but I like this comment:

I put those people who think that Comey tried to get elected in the same nutty camp as those who thought that Trump was a Clinton plant helping her get elected.

For God's sake, we are talking about the man who in a completely unprecedented and unprofessional manner held a press conference where he scolded Hillary Clinton for having that private server, despite the fact that his job was merely to state whether or not they would recommend an indictment. Then a few months later, 11 days before the election, in a completely unprecented and unprofessional manner, he "reopened" the investigation and wrote congress a very strange letter and then closed the investigation again a week or so later, effectively handing Donald Trump the election. Can we have some realism please?
