My very own brother came inches away from being part of that 12,000. He overdosed around Christmas. He's been clean since then, and the rehabs are definitely part of the problem here too. I believe it was Virginia who started that excellent thread about the Delray sober homes. My former boss at AFP was and is very involved in that fight on a personal level and has been doing God's work.

Oh, and that whole Obamacare thing that provided the health insurance necessary for rehabilitation for tens of thousands of heroin addicts who by the time they got into rehab with Nancy pretty kicked around. This is at least according to many many rehab organizations. But way to stay a team player regardless.
