Originally had it going to sea, now models are suggesting it will ride the spine of Florida and up to Georgia. I hope it doesn't hit but am prepping just in case.

Prepping is good. Buy an extra week or twos worth of food (types which can be eaten w/o cooking) now before the locusts strip the markets bare, if you have the money. Also, a medicine dropper and (unscented) bleach.

Fill any prescriptions you have ASAP.

Top off your gas tank if you drive.

If you have a printer, it also might help to print off a few road maps  and maybe some instructions on skills you might not remember, like with water purification.

The storm is so strong that my parents don't think our house is safe, so my autistic brother and his housemates will be going to a shelter for the disabled. My parents are confident but I'm terrified for his safety. I'm ready to drive the seven hours to kidnap him to the (supposed) safety of Tally Tongue
