I don't want Hillary to shut up because she's a woman I want her to shut up because she's rich.

Clinton to Sanders supporters - Turn off your radio, don't buy my book, I am not going anywhere. Sanders must prove that he was not a spoiler by helping other Democrats

"I won, really, by March and April." she continued. "But he just kept going, and he and his followers' attacks on me kept getting more and more personal, despite him asking me not to attack him personally. And, you know, I really regret that. But now he's got a chance to prove that he's something other than a spoiler. And that is to help other Democrats"

@MorningEdition
.@HillaryClinton says she is not going anywhere, and if people don't like it, "they don't have to buy my book."

What most people who call those who backed Bernie sexist fail to realise is that most of us will support Elizabeth Warren in 2020.

She's said she's not going to run for President, so we won't get to find out.

If you back Tulsi Gabbard instead, it might show you aren't sexist, but also show you are antisemitic.

Hint: Anti-semites didn't back a Jew to be the first major party non-Christian nominee.

Also, from the book:

Those chair throwing English only chanting Bernie Bros just wouldn't accept her version of reality, so clearly it is they who are Orwellian.

In her book "What Happened," Clinton questions why other mainstream Democratic politicians haven't faced the same scrutiny over their 2003 support for the Iraq War. “Why am I seen as such a divisive figure and, say, Joe Biden and John Kerry aren’t?” she asks. “They’ve cast votes of all kinds, including some they regret, just like me? What makes me such a lightning rod for fury?" "I’m really asking. I’m at a loss,” Clinton adds.

Hillary once again points out the sexist double standards that she faces, but Atlas is going to say she needs to sit down and shut up.

She needs to sit down and shut up.

You ever tell any other person who lost that they need to do the same, or you just going to have the sexist double standard?

Wait, you're calling me sexist because of what I wrote? Quote the entire post not just a part of it. If you didn't realize by now that what she's talking about right now is counter-productive, you'll never get it. And neither will she unfortunately.
Again she has every right to do so.  So unless you're going to tell the same to every other nominee who has lost you can shove your point.

What other nominee? Are you ignorant or just playing dumb? This is a thread about Hillary's interview, where can I tell anything to other nominees, lol?

It's astonishing to me after watching some portions of the interview how she doesn't get where "her party" is. She says something like "if bernie doesn't want to be here he should go somewhere else". What in the world she thinks that would do to a democratic party? How many votes would Democratic party win if there was a three party system with progressives having their own party? She still thinks she was entitled to votes, she was entitled to be the nominee, how dare this socialist coming to MY party, stealing MY votes, how dare these bernie bros challenging people on twitter?

Those were never YOUR votes, Hillary. And if democratic party wants to go down that road, well, I feel sorry for them.
AMEN! the Clinton wing of the party failed spectacularly and now need to shut up and take a backseat to the progressive wing. Just like the establishment wing of the RNC failed twice in a row and had to move aside for Trump's populist wing, albeit very reluctantly. And what did the RNC get in return for moving aside? Complete control of the gov't, very disorganized control, but thats another story.

538 had a pretty good chat on it. I think this was a pretty good quote:

"A lot of the criticism of the book goes something like “Clinton is blaming everyone else for her losing” instead of taking responsibility.[...] That criticism is such a dumb argument that it’s not really worth debating it."

I agree so I won't. The Bernie Bros* were never all that bright so trying to reason with them isn't worth the time.

You must be logged in to read this quote.

Biden was not from the opposite camp as he never endorsed Clinton in the primary. He got fewer votes in the Iowa caucus than Sarah Palin got for mayor of Wasilla. If Obama had true balls he would have picked Hillary.
Biden picked someone who'd be loyal, and was unquestionably competent.  Had he picked Hillary Clinton, he'd have picked someone who doesn't know the meaning of loyalty.  She's all about herself, and she'd have been finding opportunities to upstage Obama at Obama's expense, or instances where backchannel criticism would get out about how Obama should have acted differently, etc.  That's a wise choice.  Disloyal subordinates undermine any enterprise.  Hillary caused enough problems where she was.  There wouldn't have been a Benghazi, or a President Trump, if Hillary had remained the Senator from NY.

The guy was always an idiot who came up with stupid predictions which failed time after time. And anyone who requires the Hillary hack Nate Silver to understand whether a person is blaming others or not has serious cognitive issues. I can understand a statistical analysis but this is basic human behaviour which a child can understand.

And Nate Silver drags his as* in here. And people wonder why Democrats keep losing elections & have so many dumb people running the party. This is some funny shi* - Nate Silver is going to explain the basic meaning of a sentence from now on.

HRC says Sanders must share blame for her loss. When she was asked about DNC Favoritism, she says she is a lifelong Democrat & Bernie is an independent & tried to justify it & switched the convo to Russia.

To be honest, the book is really good. I encourage everyone to sit down and atlas read the first few chapters. It's about her coping with the loss and why she tried to stay out of the spotlight in the beginning.

Who would let someone who has never identified as a member of their party jump right in and be their leader? Look at Donald Trump and the Republicans. Yes, members of the DNC preferred a Democrat to an outsider. Wow. How scandalous.

If Bernie Sanders was the true will of the people he would have been the nominee. Period.
