Lol they put Chris Murphy and Jerry Brown ahead of Kamala Harris. I do appreciate them telling the Obama officials to ditch Deval Patrick.

Murphy should be on the list, but not top 3, and not ahead of Warren, Harris and Gillibrand.

Has there really been any chatter about Jerry Brown, let alone enough to put him in the top five?

The dude will be in his eighties, and his last presidential bid occurred at the same time as the first presidential bid by a Clinton.

When I was reading this for the first time and saw Kamala at number 7, I assumed it meant that Murphy didn't make the list. I like him a lot, but I would probably move him down at least below Warren. I don't know how I feel about Jerry Brown being that high either.

Jerry Brown should not be on this list.

Sanders and Biden being the top 2 is an indictment of the state of the party on a national level. Neither one should run at this point.

It's unclear to me if these are meant to be "power rankings", meaning that it's a ranking of who would be most likely to win the nomination conditional on them running in the first place, or if it's meant to factor in the possibility that a candidate doesn't run at all.

Either way, including Chris Murphy and Jerry Brown in the top 5 is rather ridiculous.

Surprised WaPo would put Sanders at number #1! They are correct however, its Bernie's party as long as the voters are concerned.

I think the moderate Blue Dog populists who like Schweitzer, Edwards, and Bullock have to make it clear whether they prefer the pro-gun, non-interventionist, pro-labor, fair trade progressive base, or the more moderate establishment.

Mostly reasonable.

Brown and Murphy should obviously be lower.

Garcetti and Cuomo should be higher. Garcetti should be higher than Brown at least.

Murphy #3 ahead of Warren, Harris and Gilibrand? Jerry Brown at #5 ahead of Harris and Gilibrand?

Very sexist list.

Including elderly Jerry Brown and Eric Garcetti but not Gavin Newsom is tragic. Joe Biden is terribly overrated. He'd blow an election faster than you could say foot in mouth syndrome. I'd absolutely include any popular vote winner of the prior presidential election contest in any list about the next, though I'm aware Hillary is unlikely to win the nomination again, if she even runs. But stranger things have happened, mostly Trump. Tammy Baldwin and Tulsi Gabbard might be good additions to this list. Mark Pocan and Ted Lieu could be dark horses. Left field selections from this list, Murphy, all the celebs and tech leaders.

Frankly I think Biden would be the strongest candidate on this list. Not sure after that. The ones I'd personnally be most likely to vote for would be Biden and Sherrod Brown.

Murphy should be on the list, but not top 3, and not ahead of Warren, Harris and Gillibrand.

This, and Brown should definitely be lower if not completely off the list. I didn't even really know he was potentially going to run.

Including elderly Jerry Brown and Eric Garcetti but not Gavin Newsom is tragic.

It's not clear to me what exactly is being ranked.  Probability of becoming the nominee?  If so, then Garcetti ahead of Newsom is absolutely justified, since Garcetti is dropping hints of presidential interest, whereas Newsom isn't.  Newsom even called the presidency "the most miserable job in the world":
