Apologies for dragging out this bill for even longer but I found this whilst scrubbing through the bills; it's a 2016 act that created the regional security force in Lincoln; thought it would be of some relevance to the debate about this bill.

You know, I had no clue about that bill, but it looks very similar to the one I proposed. If we go forward for this one, should we dissolve the TRASA, or just incorporate it?

I actually thought that the TRASA had failed; I think both bills can work as TRASA just seems to deal with creating the Northern Defense Force.

I think it would be good to add the Department of Regional Security like the RL US Homeland Security; so it wouldn't need any further money added.

Okay, so if I understand this correctly, we eliminate the funding bit all together in this bill and specify it is to work in cooperation with the TRASA, the bill should be good to go

I meant more so that we don't need to add more to the $45 million, or $60 million I put in the amendment. I'd be happy to cut that out if the Northern Defense force already had a spending tag but it doesn't appear to.

Okay apologies for the delay in doing this but here's what I hope can be the final amendment to this bill.

If there aren't any objections this this I'll be hoping to call this to a final vote in the morning.

This vote has gone on long enough.

With 2 Ayes and 1 Abstention, the “Creation of the Department of Regional Security, and terror group designation Act” is passed and will be sent to the Governor.
